Even Ellen made fun of this infamous line that Chris Harrison states oh so suspense-fully in every episode.
“Everyone knows it’s the final rose. There’s only one rose. They know it. Yet, every single time, ‘Ladies, Brad. It’s the final rose.’ How do you not laugh when you do that?”
Yet there it is in every episode of every season of “The Bachelor”, “The Bachelorette”, and every show that came around and copied them. I don’t think very much of reality stars, but whether it’s keys, gold clocks, or backstage passes; I’m pretty sure they at least know how to count. However, it’s hard to have “the most shocking rose ceremony yet” with out piling on the melodrama.
When I was a kid watching these true crime stories, I was always so fascinated that they had footage of what happened. True story. Of course this was when I was too young to read because, after becoming literate, one can always count on the words “dramatization” to let you know that this is not in fact the actual murder. The horrendous acting was not enough to tip you off.
